I am delighted to announce the official opening of the The Harry Hobbs Kitchen on Saturday 7th May - our first home league game of the season. Over the winter, we renovated the kitchen and toilets and they look fantastic - please do come in and have a look. I would like to thank Liam Beere and all the volunteers who assisted for their hard work.
The Kitchen will operate as a small café during Friday training and weekends selling a range of snacks, hot and cold drinks, confectionery, fresh fruit and ice creams. The Kitchen will be run by volunteers and all profits will go to the Club to fund equipment and projects across senior and junior cricket - please do come and support us. We are always looking for volunteers so do get in touch or call in at the Kitchen if you would like to get involved.
I hope to see you at the Club soon.
Keith Arnold
*Harry Hobbs bequeathed the Club a generous legacy last year and that, along with a grant from the ECB, meant we had the funds to upgrade the kitchen facilities. Harry was 1st XI Captain and played many important roles in the development of the Club.
