Lost by 12 runs.

Out batted and bowled last night at a cold and windy Woolams.

Lost the toss and they batted and we bowled well up top with James and Olly with the new ball. Theo got the break through thanks to a good catch from James and whilst we didn't bowl badly we didn't bowl enough balls hitting the stumps - bowled a little too short and without much luck.

One of their lads retired on 30 and batted well. Will P bowled some absolute rockets and Ellis and Callan borrowed from the U12s also bowled really well. 89/4 close of innings - 2 run outs from Will P and Olly B.

Freddy another u12 did fantastically well behind the stumps on a tricky pitch.

On to the batting - Will M got an absolute seed first ball - hard luck tough game cricket. We lost too many wickets early on - but they did bowl really well. 7 of our wickets lost bowled. We did threaten briefly when Bertie and Tom F got together and Theo coming in down the order showed good intent but we were well beaten. No cup run and our groundsman is pleased.

MOMs the 3 under 12s - thanks for helping us out and well done!!!
